accountability

Accountability logs measure incremental progress, accelerating our path to success. On this page, you’ll find my personal accountability logs, which serve as examples for others to follow. By tracking daily progress, we clarify goals, build momentum, and achieve meaningful change. Learn how consistent measurement can empower you to overcome challenges and reach your highest potential.

Fitness Log

At the beginning of 2025, I set a couple of goals related to fitness. I set one goal of running 2,500 miles during the year. It’s part of my 25 in 2025 series of goals. I also set a goal of running at least one 25-mile distance. My accountability logs help me stay on track with where I need to go.

Finance

I earn a living through the investments I make and also through trading. To stay on track, I use daily accountability logs. The entries help me keep my finger on the pulse of the markets. I do not offer financial advice. The accountability logs show the decisions I make, and the result. People should invest in themselves first to learn about markets and the risks associated with financial decisions.

Short-Term Trades

Besides holding on long-term investments, I use the skills I developed in prison to earn a living through short-term trades. Resources from those trades allow me to make new investments, and to pay bills. It’s the reason I do not accept jobs for hire. I do not offer financial advice. People should invest in themselves by reading, as I did. I record my transactions to build an asset that leads to better trading.

Book Reviews

By reading, we learn. Once I began reading books in prison, I began to train myself how to think differently. Each time I read a book, I would write a book report. It would show the reason I read the book, what I learned from reading the book, and how reading the book would contribute to my success upon release. I still use that strategy today. These links show what I've been learning from reading in 2025.

I'll never ask anyone to do anything that I'm not doing

I served 26 years in federal prison, guided every step of the way by lessons from extraordinary leaders like Socrates, Frederick Douglass, Viktor Frankl, and Nelson Mandela. Their teachings showed me how to transform adversity into strength. Today, I share the exact strategies I used to prepare for success—strategies anyone can follow. Through my writing, daily blogs, and transparency with an accountability log, I strive to inspire others by demonstrating that regardless of our past, we all have the power to create meaningful change and build a life of significance.
